Housekeeper

We are looking for a motivated team player to join our housekeeping team for the rest of the summer season. Experience is necessary. 

This position is rostered full time and available with an immediate start. You must be able to stop by for a trial shift. 

We require a minimum commitment until the end of May.

Dishy/Kitchenhand

We are looking for a motivated team player to join our busy kitchen as dishwasher/kitchenhand for the rest of the summer season. This is a tough job - experience in the kitchen is preferred, but a great work ethic and positive 'can-do' attitude is most important. Full training will be provided if needed. The job consists of morning, daytime and evening/closing shifts. 

This position is rostered full time and available with an immediate start. You must be able to stop by for a trial shift. 

We require a minimum commitment until the end of April.

Sous Chef

We are on the hunt for an experienced full-time Sous Chef to join our kitchen team! The ideal candidate will be service-oriented, have extensive food knowledge, and display creative flair.

POSITION DETAILS:

• Support the head chef in running the kitchen, stock management, food safety and team development
• Supervise kitchen team in absence of the head chef
• Ensure high quality and presentation of all dishes

Three years of experience is essential for this role. It's available with an immediate start and with a four work day roster for a great work-life balance. Preference will be given to permanent residents/those with at least 6 months on their work visa.

Chef de Partie

We require an experienced, adaptable Chef de Partie with a broad skill set who loves to work in a busy kitchen. A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar fast-paced environment is required. Experience in cooking Kiwi / western cuisine is a must.

• Approx. hours are 3pm-close

This is a long-term role and available with an immediate start. Minimum commitment is until the end of April, staying beyond that and for winter, as well as sponsorship, is possible. Staff accommodation is available.

Barista / Food Runner

We seek a professional and efficient barista who is passionate about making coffees, knows how to pour the perfect espresso shot, dial the coffee grinder in and do latte art whilst remaining calm when the dockets start piling up. Please be aware that we are not a café, meaning that the job also encompasses several other front of house duties that will keep your day varied and interesting. Once the morning coffee rush is over, you'll be running food to tables and clear them, whilst keeping an eye on the coffee docket machine. Front of house/waiting experience is therefore also essential. 

The role is full-time and mostly consists of early starts, providing an engaging breakfast service to our hotel guests, and working until around 3pm. You will be covering 2-3 morning shifts on the coffee machine when our head barista is on their days off, and work floor shifts for the rest of the week (Mid-morning start until late afternoon/into dinner if required). 

The job is available with an immediate start and we ideally require a commitment to the rest of the summer season, meaning until late April/early May.

Restaurant Wait Staff

We are looking for motivated team players who are happy to work the late shift in our restaurant, leaving the mornings free to enjoy the outdoors. Experience working in restaurants offering table service is required.

The role is rostered full-time. A typical shift will be from 3pm until close, or a 12pm until quiet.

The role is available with an immediate start. We need candidates to commit to the entire rest of the summer season, meaning until late April / early May. You must be able to stop by for a trial shift. Staff accommodation is available to the right applicant.
